DAD Thatchers was founded by Danie Erasmus, and the company became operational when investors Alex van Niekerk and Dirk Visser joined. These three people complement one another and form a proficient unit that can deal with all eventualities.

Danie have 13 years of thatching experience, some of which was acquired internationally in Ireland. He has a passion for the industry and always looks at new ways and technologies that can benefit our customers. Dirk is an established builder with 11 years in the building industry and brings a focused view with him. Alex is an established manager with 16 year’s experience in managing SME’s.

DAD focuses its business in the Western Cape, and treats all clients with the necessary respect and attention, whether it is a budget umbrella or an upmarket house. We keep communications to all clients clear and avoid any misrepresentations. We do not hide cost in Fine Print, and we strive to give a cost effective service of the highest quality to all concerned.
